Teachers may wish to book our special educational tours for school groups and student groups. The tour starts at Obersalzberg where our guide underlines the significance of Hitler’s former HQs in world history.
In addition to a guided tour of the Eagle’s Nest and the underground bunker system, our guide will highlight portions of the Documentation Center, a factual and well-researched educational museum. Several National Socialist and WWII-related themes are presented at the Documentation Center, such as Hitler’s rise to power, the Fuehrer Cult, the propaganda machine, the “people’s community”, the evolution of the concentration camp system from 1933 to 1945 and Obersalzberg (2nd seat of power and a stage for international politics and war).
